In 1913, at the initiative of the Baku public, the Baku Charitable Society “Children’s Hospital” was established.
It brought together 123 major entrepreneurs and representatives of the city’s intelligentsia, regardless of their nationality or religious affiliation. The members of this society were divided into honorary, life, and full members.
