On November 19, 1911, the Ryazan Governor approved the Troekurovo Consumers' Society in the village of Troekurovo, Ranenburgsky Uyezd.
At the Troekurovo station, the society soon opened its own shop.
The village originated in 1898 as a settlement near the Troekurovo railway station, upon the opening of the Ranenburg–Paveletsk line with a branch to Astapovo. The station was named after the village of Troekurovo (now a village), located 7 km from the railway. The settlement was assigned to the Nikolskaya Volost of Ranenburgsky Uyezd. Until 1917, the settlement had 30–40 houses. Troekurovo became a local center for purchasing grain.
