Fantastic issue of Turkestan. The stamps appeared for sale in 1920, claimed to have been issued by Baron Ungern-Sternberg before his army’s retreat from Eastern Turkestan to Mongolia. The issue consists of 20 stamps with overprints on imperforate 1- and 2-kopeck stamps of the Russian Empire. The stamps are clearly of foreign manufacture, since in the word "RUB" (denominations of 5 and 10 rubles) a soft sign ("Π¬") was printed instead of the letter "B".

According to the catalog by M.A. Kramarenko: Fantastic issue, Kokand Autonomy, General I.M. Zaitsev. An unrecognized state that existed from November 27, 1917 to February 22, 1918, on the territory of the Turkestan Governor-Generalship.
