14 December 1918: The Chusovoy Works was occupied by Kolchak's army.
11 July 1919: The Chusovoy Works was occupied by the Red Army.
27 February 1924: The establishment of the Chusovoy District of the Perm Okrug of the Ural Oblast, with its center at the Chusovoy Works, was approved in accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Ural Regional Executive Committee of the Soviets of Workers', Peasants', and Red Army Deputies.
31 December 1935: The Chusovoy District of Sverdlovsk Oblast was преобразован into the city of Chusovoy, with adjacent territory incorporated into it, in accordance with the resolution of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee (VTsIK) "On introducing clarifications and additions to the resolutions of the Presidium of the VTsIK on the new network of districts of ASSRs, krais, and oblasts".
