The history of the enterprise begins in 1953, when it became one of the sites of the All-Union Komsomol shock construction project—the city of Shelekhov. A large group of young people from the Oryol Region was sent here with assignments issued by the Central Committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (VLKSM). In 1957, the Shelekhov Plant of Reinforced Concrete Products was commissioned; in 1992 it was reorganized into OJSC "Shelekhov Plant of Reinforced Concrete Products," and in 2002 into LLC "East Siberian Plant of Reinforced Concrete Structures."
Initially, the plant’s products were intended for the construction needs of the Irkutsk Aluminum Plant and the city of Shelekhov; however, over time they also became in demand among customers in other towns and settlements of the region. Using materials produced by our plant, an entire city with a population of 60,000 was built. In addition, from Tayshet to Chita there was not a single major civil or industrial facility in whose construction the plant did not take part. The geography of external relations is extremely broad.
