The stamps were produced on behalf of the Tuvan People's Republic in the Soviet Union at the Moscow printing plant "Goznak". The originals for the entire series were created by the artist V. Zavyalov. Folk motifs were used for the ornaments. The 1 kopek stamp depicts the coat of arms of the Tuvan People's Republic.
