The stamp "Pioneer Badge" from the "Pioneers of the Soviet Country" series was issued on September 24, 1970. Print run: 5,000,000 copies. Artist: I. Martynova.
The stamp depicts the seventh-issue Pioneer badge, established and introduced in the Pioneer organization in 1967. The main difference from all previous versions is that the sickle and hammer were replaced by a bas-relief portrait of V. I. Lenin; the ribbon with the inscription "Always ready!" became an order ribbon—of the Order of Lenin—and was placed diagonally from the lower left ray of the star.

The badge symbolism: friendship, internationalism, labor, readiness to defend the Motherland. The bas-relief of V. I. Lenin and the order ribbon with the inscription "Always ready!" appeared as a statement commemorating the awarding of the All-Union Pioneer Organization named after V. I. Lenin with the Order of Lenin in 1962, marking the 40th anniversary of the Pioneer organization.
