Fantasy issue, allegedly for the mail of the East Turkestan White Army of General Sychev. "Turkestan Post" stamps with a hand-applied violet overprint.
Stamps of this issue are known with a black fantasy cancellation: a double-circle handstamp reading "Field Post in the Turk. White Army" with the date in the center.

Weavers. A fantasy issue of the so-called Turkestan Post. The stamps appeared on the philatelic market in 1924. The catalog of Baron Scharfenberg's collection states that these stamps were produced in Italy, but Captain Shramchenko considered Paris to be their place of origin.
