A St. Petersburg publishing house founded by Alexander Makovsky, the son of the prominent Russian artist Vladimir Egorovich Makovsky, together with the artist A. I. Lazhechnikov. The publishing house produced monochrome and color postcards featuring reproductions of paintings by Russian artists, primarily members of the Peredvizhniki movement.
