May 9 — the Eternal Flame was lit in front of the pedestal of the monument to the fallen soldiers of World War II (1941–45), “No One Is Forgotten.”
The author of the “Eternal Flame” is unknown. The casting of the rosette with the star was made by master Illariokhin. The “Alley of Glory” was also opened — 10 gravestones with the names of Pechora residents who fell in World War II (1941–45). Capsules were placed under the slabs, containing soil from the Hero Cities of the former USSR.
